Bill Clinton Hospitalized After Suffering Chest Pains

On February 11 (Bloomberg), the former United States President Bill Clinton was rushed to a hospital in New York. The former president has been suffering from chest pains. His spokesman said that the former president underwent a procedure where 2 stents were placed in one of his coronary arteries.

According to his counselor Douglas Band, President Clinton is now in good spirits, and he will continue his work focusing on the foundation he built including the relief and recovery efforts that are given to the Haiti victims. Former President Bill Clinton, at the age of 63, is really working really hard for the victims of the deadly earthquake in Haiti. His relief operations were continuous and supporting.

In 2004, Clinton already underwent a heart bypass surgery. During this incident, he was admitted at the Presbyterian Hospital in New York. His complains were also chest pains including shortness in breathing. An angiogram was ordered and the results showed that several of his arteries were being blocked by over than 90%. He was then scheduled for a quadruple bypass surgery to prevent him from having a heart attack.
